How We Developed Our High Impact Biological Medicine Model
More than twenty years ago, our Medical Director at The Biosanctuary began to develop what is today known as our High Impact Biological Medicine Model that produces truly superior patient medical outcomes.

How it all started…
Twenty years ago, our Medical Director, Genita M. Mason (H.H.P., N.C., F.E) mentored with the well-known Dr Abram Hoffer.
With a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a medical degree from the University of Toronto, Dr Hoffer held the position of Director of Psychiatric Research at the Government of Saskatchewan’s two mental facilities.
From his biochemical theories, Dr Hoffer deduced that large doses of vitamin B-3 and vitamin C might be therapeutic and had an opportunity to treat a dying catatonic schizophrenic patient in an insulin coma with large doses of niacin and ascorbic acid. Thirty days later the patient was discharged and remained well. After six double blinds, thousands of patients and dozens of open clinical studies, Dr Hoffer knew he had a new way of treating patients. His research, and the use of mega doses of vitamins, led to two-time Nobel Prize Winner Dr Linus Pauling’s formulation of Orthomolecular Psychiatry and Medicine.
In short, the principles of Orthomolecular Medicine is detox the body’s cells, make the cells’ environment nutrient dense and to correct nutritional deficiencies to “awaken the physician within” – so each cell can do what it does best: to heal itself, the organs, and the mind and body as a whole.
While applying these principles to alcohol and psychiatric drug addiction patients, it became clear to the The Biosanctuary team that Orthomolecular Medicine not only cured the addictions, but also resolved many other health conditions such as Candida and IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) by default.

What Exactly is our Biological Medicine Model?

Our model is based on a scientific medical fact: the underlying cause of all disease is oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress is cause by our toxic environments, denatured diets and other unhealthy lifestyle influences. Modern life is a chemical assault as a result of toxic water, chemical personal hygiene products, chemtrails, agricultural run-off and industrial pollution. Our diets have little nutritional value due to the poisoning of our food with processing, pesticides and additives, and irresponsible technology such as GMO.
Oxidative stress activates immune system and triggers inflation, while also reducing transmembrane voltage. These are meant to be short-term responses by the body to specific health events such as a broken bone. However, due to ongoing and relentless oxidative stress in modern life, we all suffer from chronic, long-term inflammation and reduced transmembrane voltage.
